Sanibel Seascapes - Sanibel Island, Florida

I was honored to spend Easter down on Sanibel Island with one of my best friends and her family (native to Minnesota, so it was almost felt like home!)  I made incessant memories while walking along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico hunting for sea shells as the morning sun rose over the palms.  Of course, I had to take these adventures up a notch and went in for the mother lode - hint the "mother lode" are shells caught in sand troughs just a few feet in.  While doing so, one tends to get wet and sometimes that water is not the warmest of water and therefore I did not post those pictues showing my facial expressions as those waves snuck up on me!
